Bellwright – The new survival game from the creators of Last Oasis sends you to the medieval times

With Bellwright, a new medieval survival game awaits us, which also wants to combine elements from the construction and strategy genres into an interesting mix.

You can work your way up from a simple farmer or hunter to a ruler with his own army.

What is Bellwright about?

Bellwright’s gameplay takes place in a fancy medieval world, where you’ll initially have to hunt animals, collect and grow plants, and gather other resources to survive and build your first building.

Gradually, your base will grow and then NPCs will join your village or settlement. They can take over tasks for you or even fight alongside you.
In the game, it’s not only your own skills that count, but especially those of your followers and companions, who gradually grow from apprentices to talented professionals in their field.
Thus, you’ll train them to become farmers, talented craftsmen, unerring archers or defensible knights.

With your companions, you’ll then gradually liberate more and more villages from the Crown’s rule and create outposts to support your rebellion.

On top of all this, according to the Steam page, there will also be a deep character progression system for yourself and the exploration of an interesting storyline, in the course of which you can find out your origins and the reasons for the rebellion.

Who is the developer behind Bellwright?

The developer team behind Bellwright is Donkey Crews, which is also responsible for the survival title Last Oasis.
The title has been in Early Access since its release in 202 and has not yet been published as a full release.

So the team has some experience with survival games, but also faces accusations of letting the previous game lie fallow to tackle a new project.

Of course, this doesn’t necessarily mean that the same fate awaits Bellwright, but it’s still a factor to keep in mind.

Currently, there is no official release date for Bellwright yet.
