The Day Before – Developer confirms the release in November

After the strange-looking spa video last month, the developers of The Day Before are back again – and this time there’s more than just a glimpse of a post-apocalyptic bathhouse.

This time it should work out with the release – and a beta phase has also been announced.

No further delays

On the official Discord server they now announced that the game will be officially released on November 10, 2023 as planned, there will be no further delays.
They are currently working on making the game available there again after removing it from Steam.

For an as yet unspecified time before the release date, there will also be a beta phase in which you can already try out the game and give feedback to the developers.

At first glance, this may sound quite promising, but developer Fntastic has proven in the past in many controversies that keeping promises and announcements is not one of its own strengths.

Controversies around The Day Before

For example, the upcoming zombie survival title has already been postponed twice, once from 2022 to 2023 and later from March 2023 to November 2023.

After gameplay material was announced again and again and not published, the title then also disappeared from Steam due to copyright disputes.

When there finally really was “gameplay” material, both the obvious graphics downgrade and the content of the gameplay itself were disappointing.

The formerly most wanted title on the Steam gaming platform has since then understandably had a hard time with survival fans and now has to prove that it delivers what was promised.
