Hunt: Showdown 1896 Twitch Drops – All info on the June 2025 campaign

The next big Twitch Drops campaign for Hunt: Showdown 1896 is coming up and will once again bring numerous exclusive rewards for all viewers in June.

Here you can find out everything you need to know about the event, the rewards and the special features of the new Drops campaign.

When does the event take place?

The 1896 Twitch Drops start on June 18 at 3pm CEST and run until July 9, 3pm CEST. Over a period of three weeks, you will have the opportunity to unlock all rewards – without any time pressure or daily rotations.

These rewards await you

The campaign brings three brand new cosmetic items and several Supply Crates to the game. All rewards are available from day one and can be earned in any order.

New cosmetic items

• True North – weapon charm
• Round of Applause – weapon inspection animation for all Pax variants
• Lavish Farewell – weapon skin for the Pax

There is no random legendary hunter and no alternative skins this time.

Supply Crates

You can obtain a total of three Supply Crates. Each crate contains a selection of the following items:

• One random rifle
• One random pistol
• One random shotgun
• One random special weapon
• Three random tools or consumables
• One random amount of Hunt Dollars

How to unlock the rewards

The drops are unlocked through pure watch time with participating streamers. There are no partner-exclusive items and no daily time slots.

The rewards will be awarded according to the following viewing times:

• 30 minutes – Supply Crate #1
• 60 minutes – True North (weapon charm)
• 90 minutes – Supply Crate #2
• 150 minutes – Round of Applause (animation)
• 180 minutes – Supply Crate #3
• 240 minutes – Lavish Farewell (Pax Skin)

You can divide up the time flexibly and don’t have to watch everything in one go. After a total of four hours, you’ll have secured all the rewards.

Drops not time-exclusive this time

In contrast to previous promotions, the drops are not time-controlled this time. All rewards are available from the start for the entire duration of the event. There are no daily rotations, no exclusive partner drops and no restrictions on when you can collect which reward. This gives you maximum flexibility and allows you to collect the drops at your own pace.

How to connect your account for the twitch drops

To get the Twitch Drops, you only need to complete a few steps before you can watch and collect minutes:

All you have to do is connect your Twitch account to your Hunt: Showdown account on Steam, PlayStation or Xbox.

• Visit the page to connect the accounts: Hunt: Showdown Twitch Drops
• Click on the “LINK ACCOUNT” button.
• Select your platform – Steam, PlayStation or Xbox
• You will then need to authorize the Twitch connection to your account again.
• You will then see your connected account.

Then all you have to do is wait for the promotion to start, log in to Twitch and watch one of the participating streamers to receive Twitch Drops!
You will then find the items in your Twitch inventory, where you have to redeem them.

Community reactions

The new structure has divided opinion in the community. Many are happy about the flexibility and the new items.
Others miss the legendary hunters from previous campaigns and fear that the number of spectators could drop sharply after the first few days, as all rewards are quickly available.
