Less than two weeks after release, the first free DLC for Dying Light 2: Stay Human will be released, in the form of a themed armor set for one of the game’s factions.

With this, the developers are already following up their announcements for the long-term support with deeds.

First free content

Content-wise, it’s all about the Authority Pack, which thematically revolves around the game’s Peacekeeper faction, which, according to their own statements, tries to restore and secure law and order in Villedor.
The pack will be divided into three parts, each of which will contain some of the set items:

Release date & contents of all Parts

  • Part 1 – vest, pants, shoes – February 14, 2022
  • Part 2 – Balaclava, bracers, gloves – February 16, 2022
  • Part 3 – Weapon – February 18, 2022

How to get the Authority Pack

To get the different set parts of the Authority Pack you have to pick them up on the “Gamer Goodies” page of the game.

  • Visit the official Techland site.
  • Create an account if you don’t have one already.
  • Log in with your account.
  • Visit your profile with this link.
  • Depending on the platform you are playing on, click on the corresponding plus sign and connect the account to your platform account.
  • Then click on “Events” and find the Authority Pack – or follow this link.
  • Click on the download of your platform, log in and click on the download of the DLC.
  • If everything worked, the game should start and an info window will inform you that the content is waiting for you in Aiden’s Hideout.

Another faction pack in the future?

Since the first pack only deals with the Peacekeeper faction of the game, it can be assumed that the other main faction of the game, the survivors, will also receive similar DLC.

However, Techland has not confirmed this yet.
