When does the event take place?
The August 2025 Twitch Drops started on August 6 at 3 p.m. UTC and will run until August 27 at 3 p.m. UTC. Over a period of three weeks, you will have the opportunity to unlock all rewards – with a weekly reward system instead of daily rotations.
The new weekly system
Unlike previous campaigns, Crytek is using a weekly reward system this time around. Each week offers a different selection of rewards that you can unlock throughout the week. At the end of the week, the corresponding items disappear and are replaced by new ones.
Important: You have the entire week to collect the respective rewards. There are no daily restrictions or time windows.
These rewards await you
The campaign brings back only proven items from past Twitch Drops promotions. All rewards are intended for players who missed previous campaigns or want to complete their collection.
Week 1 (August 6–13)
The first week offers the following rewards based on viewing time:
- Gator Eye – Weapon Charm (60 minutes)
- The Marquis – Knife Skin (150 minutes)
- Bingham Brash – Martini-Henry Riposte Skin (240 minutes)
Week 2 (August 13–20)
The second week offers the following items:
- Moondial – Weapon Charm (60 minutes)
- Alley Cat – Bornheim No. 3 Skin (150 minutes)
- Old Tusk – Springfield 1866 Skin (240 minutes)
Week 3 (August 20–27)
The final week brings these rewards:
- Hera’s Gift – Weapon Charm (60 minutes)
- Seven Sights – Sparks Sniper Skin (150 minutes)
- Random Hunter – Legendary Hunter from previous Twitch Drops (240 minutes)
How to unlock the rewards
The drops are unlocked by simply watching participating streamers. All you have to do is link your Hunt: Showdown account to your Twitch account.
There are no partner-exclusive items and no special restrictions. Any streamer with drops enabled can help you earn the rewards.
The rewards are awarded according to the following viewing times per week:
- 30 minutes – Supply Crate #1
- 60 minutes – Weapon charm of the respective week
- 90 minutes – Supply Crate #2
- 150 minutes – Weapon skin of the respective week
- 180 minutes – Supply Crate #3
- 240 minutes – Main reward of the respective week
You can divide the time flexibly and don’t have to watch everything at once. After a total of four hours per week, you are guaranteed all available rewards.

You will then find the items in your Twitch inventory, where you have to redeem them.
Alternative rewards
If you already own one of the skins, you will receive alternative skins from the same category instead. If you already own all available alternatives, you will receive 5,000 Hunt Dollars as a replacement.
For weapon charms: Ruby’s Favor, Emerald Dove, Demond Ward, Second Chance, or Ferryman’s Coin
For Random Hunters: Priority will be given to previous Twitch Drops hunters such as Lulu, Kill Buyer, Billy Story, Steel Eyed, The Infected, and Umpire’s Bane. If you already own all of them, you will receive a random Blood Bond Hunter or 10,000 Hunt Dollars.
Return of the popular Random Hunter
A special highlight of the August campaign is the return of the random legendary hunter in the third week. This was not available in the previous June campaign and caused criticism in the community at the time.
Many players missed the chance to get rare hunters like Lulu or Billy Story. With the new campaign, they get another opportunity to obtain these coveted characters.
